Digital Creative Director

The role:

You'll partner with senior management, creatives, art directors, technologists, and strategists to develop concepts across a wide variety of project types and media.

The ideal candidate will have experience collaborating on both original digitally bred campaigns and creating the visual look and narrative of complex, large-scale websites, mobile applications and other digitally enabled executions.

You'll demonstrate world-class execution of innovative and effective solutions to your clients problems, technology is at the heart of everything you do.

You'll ideally come from a tech background, your passion for building innovative solutions to a wide range of business problems drives you to inspire your creative colleagues to create pioneering ideas for world-class solutions.

You'll have a strong sense of art direction, and be proficient in design using a variety of digital production tools and environments, you enjoy being close to the projects in a hands on capacity.

You're able to assess the needs of projects, creating a creative workflow that works for the timeframe and team. Taking personal responsibility for on-time deliverables and expertly crafted visualizations, copy and production graphics that comply with client style guides and standards.

Acting as mentor to the creative team, and working to evolve the creative team's art direction and copy writing process by proactively researching and pursuing best practices.

Requirement:

  • An excellent portfolio showcasing digital work samples
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A minimum of 10-13 years' experience in graphic design and/or digital advertising and/or consultancy.
  • Detailed knowledge of the agency studio/creative department process
  • Proven ability to create concepts and designs for a variety of audiences, brands, and industries
  • Impeccable organization skills and studio management techniques
  • Exceptional design aesthetic, variations on styles, and awareness of design trends and innovation
  • Expert proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash), expert knowledge inMS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint), and expert knowledge Apple Keynote and Pages
  • Solid typography skills
  • Familiarity with SEO requirements
  • Strong knowledge of technology related to advertising
  • Understands the technical possibilities and limitations of digital development
  • Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
  • Exceptional communication skills
